Awards Process
Only the organisers, Michelle and AJ, are privy to the Winners names, which adds to the excitement of the night. Each candidate on the shortlist will undergo evaluation by three judges from the panel. Each judge will score the applicants independently, without knowledge of the other judges’ scores. These individual scores will then be combined to determine the top five or ten finalists, as well as the winners.
This approach guarantees that the final results are not swayed by any individual opinion, ensuring fairness throughout the process.
Not being present at the awards ceremony does not disqualify candidates from winning. Therefore, when we announce the winners on the night, some may be absent. If that occurs, we’ll move forward quickly.
